V piatkovom päťdesiatom kole Tipos Extraligy sme mohli sledovať boj o hornú šestku tabuľky a to hneď v troch dueloch. Diváci s napätím sledovali zápasy na štadiónoch a dianie ostatných duelov. Otázka ohľadom priameho postupu dala do pohybu postupové kalkulačky aj v tímoch odvekých rivalov „Baranov“ a „Rytierov.“ V poslednom kole základnej časti sa predstavili aj dvaja sedemnásťroční mladíci. Alexander Milan Sejna a Adam Beluško.
Alexander Milan Sejna
Ešte len sedemnásťročný útočník oblieka dres Liptovského Mikuláša. V piatkovom stretnutí si pripísal svoj prvý bod za gól v stretnutí so Slovanom Bratislava. Zápas skončil v prospech Belasých, no v polovici zápasu bolo skóre aj vďaka Alexandrovi Sejnovi vyrovnané. Prvý gól v zápase za Denisa Godlu doputoval z hokejky Marleyho Quincea a ešte v tej istej tretine sa vďaka dvom presným zásahom do vedenia dostal tím z hlavného mesta. V dvadsiatej siedmej minúte skóroval A. M. Sejna. Asistovalo mu duo Aurel Nauš a Tomáš Nauš. Po tomto presnom zásahu už góly putovali len za chrbát Alexeia Krasikova. Konkrétne dvakrát z hokejky Samsona Mahboda a raz svoj presný zásah zaznamenal aj Emile Poirier. Slovan Bratislava si touto výhrou zabezpečil piate miesto v tabuľke a v štvrťfinále sa stretnú s mužstvom HC Košice. HK 32 Liptovský Mikuláš sa v osemfinále stretne so zvolenskými „Rytiermi.“
Adam Beluško
Druhým menovaným rovesníkom je Adam Beluško, obranca, ktorý oblieka dres HC Košice. V piatkovom zápase zažil svoj debut v Tipos Extralige pričom zápas proti Dukle Trenčín pre Košice nezačal vôbec ideálne. V prvej tretine diváci v Steel aréne gól nevideli. V tej druhej padli dva, avšak tieto góly fanúšikov Košíc nepotešili, pretože skončili v ich sieti. Naopak tretia tretina patrila Košiciam a spomínanému Beluškovi, ktorý ako prvý rozvlnil sieť hosťujúceho Trenčína. V pätnástej minúte korigoval stav duelu na 1:3 pre Trenčín, asistovali mu Berger a Lunter. Dve sekundy pred koncom zápasu pridal ďalší gól pre Košice Joona Jääskeläinen a stav duelu sa zmenil na 2:3. Aj napriek tomuto presnému zásahu si plný počet bodov bral hosťujúci Trenčín. HC Košice si, tak ako sme už spomínali, zahrajú s HC Slovan Bratislava. Dukla Trenčín si zahrá osemfinále už 11.3 proti HK Nitra.
Veľmi som sa tešil na tento zápas. Bolo mojim snom hrať za Košice pred plnou halou. Prišla ma povzbudiť priateľka, boli tu rodičia i brat, kamaráti a teší ma, že nechýbala babka, ktorá ma podporuje od malička. Veľmi ma teší, že sa mi pošťastil aj gól. Určite na to nikdy nezabudnem. Vďaka patrí aj Tomášovi Mikúšovi. Pred tretinou mi popľul hokejku a asi mi teda odovzdal svoju streleckú slinu. Všetci predsa vieme, akú formu mal v poslednom čase. Čo sa týka toho gólu, tak do bránky sme sa tam tlačili všetci piati a puku som sa dotkol ako posledný. Bola to však práca všetkých hráčov na ľade.
