Aj keď sezóna Tipos Extraligy stále nie je u konca, keďže ostáva ešte finálové meranie síl medzi Spišskou Novou Vsou a prekvapením tohtoročného play-off z Nitry, Liptovský Mikuláš už pomaly hlási prvé posily. Po oznámení zotrvania snajpera Alexandra Avcina lovil tím Róberta Ľuptáka v Skalici a Trenčíne.
Zo Skalice sa vrátil Vladimír Vybiral, extraligistu posilní aj Peter Šandór
Prvotne klub z Liptova predstavil dvojicu posíl z Tipos SHL. Do Tipos Extraligy sa vrátí odchovanec klubu, Vladimír Vybiral. Aktuálne 25-ročný rodák zo Starej Ľubovne odohral za Skalicu 43 zápasov, počas ktorých stihol vsietiť 21 gólov, ku ním doplnil 23 asistencií. Sezónu si okorenil aj o hosťovanie v Nitre, za ktorú nastúpil v šiestich zápasoch. Zo Záhoria okrem Vybirala prichádza posilniť extraligistu aj menej známy Peter Šandór, pre ktorého je to prvá šanca zasiahnuť do najvyššej súťaže. Sezónu 2023/24 začal bratislavský rodák v Topoľčanoch, no dohral ju neďaleko domova, v Skalici. Suma-sumárom, táto sezóna mu vyniesla 11 gólov a 17 asistencií za 42 zápasov. Momentálne má Šandór 23 rokov, nastupuje ako krídelník a výhodou je u neho pravé držanie hokejky.

Zaujímavým príchodom môže byť angažovanie 17-ročného ľavého beka Jakuba Štrbáňa. Aj napriek mladému veku toho stihol už pomerne veľa, skúsil anabázu v Česku, kde nastupoval za Havlíčkův Brod do 17 rokov, následne sa upísal Dukle Trenčín, aby neskôr odišiel skúsiť hokej vo Švédsku. Za Strömsbro mladý obranca odohral 26 duelov (0+4) a následne sa vrátil späť na Slovensko. Ročník 2023/24 rozdelil medzi projekt Team Slovakia a Duklu Trenčín, zároveň dostal príležitosť v mládežnických reprezentáciach, v kategórii do 18 rokov odohral 3 zápasy, v reprezentácii do 19 rokov zas 4 stretnutia, všetky bez bodového zápisu.
