S prehľadom najkontroverznejším podpisom riaditeľa klubu Imreho Valáška sa stal skúsený Marek Slovák. Majiteľ nie len troch ligových titulov ale taktiež 781 ligových štartov prišiel od rivala z Nitry, avšak minulý ročník dohral v Košiciach. Aktuálne 35-ročný center sa radí medzi najvýraznejšie postavy “corgoňov“ za posledné roky, preto bude zaujímavé sledovať, ako tento prestup prijmú nie len fanúšikovia Nitry, ale taktiež na privítanie fanúšíkov Nových Zámkov.
Markuss Komuls (z Trois-Riviéres Lions, ECHL)
Nové Zámky mali náročnú úlohu a to síce nahradiť produktívnych obrancov Mikea Leeho a Robertsa Mamčicsa. Klub si napokon vyhliadol do zadných radov legionárov Daniela Kowalczyka z Frýdku-Místku a práve Komulsa, ktorý je rovnako ako Mamčics z Lotyšska. Emils Gegeris (z Cergy-Pontoise, Ligue Magnus)
Rovnako ako Markuss, tak aj Emils je z Lotyšska, konkrétne z Rigy. Produktívny útočník, ktorý má čuch na góly odohral počas minulej sezóny v Ligue Magnus len 29 duelov, no ani to mu nezabránilo stať sa 4. najlepším strelcom celej ligy, keďže zaznamenal 23 presných zásahov.

Ďalšou výraznou posilou do útočných formácii je bez pochýb skúsený krídelník Marek Tvrdoň, ktorý si na jednu sezónu odskočil do ambicióznej českej Poruby. Hoci sa tímu postup nepodaril, z individuálnej stránky môže brať rodák z Nitry minulý ročník za úspešný, keď bol s 35 kanadskými bodmi (12+23) tretím najproduktívnejším hráčom tímu. Bývalý prospekt Detroitu Red Wings v sezóne 2022/23 pôsobil u rivala z Nitry, kde za 44 zápasov zaznamenal 6 gólov a 12 asistencií.
Jason Grande (z College of the Holly Cross, NCAA)
Ako bolo vyššie spomenuté, jedným z najťažších krokov pre vedenie Nových Zámkov je adektvátne nahradiť stálicu Pavla Kantora. Klub napokon pomerne nečakane podpísal hneď dvoch legionárskych brankárov, jedným z nich je Jason Grande, s ktorým bude tandem tvoriť Fín Kristian Tamminen.
