Arizona dnes oznámila, že zo svojho farmárskeho mužstva Tucson Roadrunners povoláva do svojich služieb 26-ročného obrancu Patrika Kocha, ktorý by sa tak mohol stať ďalším Slovákom v NHL.
Robustný obranca sa na farmu Arizony Coyotes dostal po tom, čo zaujal svojimi výkonmi v drese Vítkovic v Českej extralige. Patrik má 26 rokov, čo už je pomerne vysoký vek na debut v NHL. Arizona však jeho povolaním do A-tímu získava hráča, ktorý sa nebojí hrať do tela, čo by v NHL nemuselo byť vôbec na škodu.
Koch sa už stihol predstaviť aj na vlaňajších majstrovstvách sveta. Mnohí si určite budú pamätať jeho tvrdý hit v úvodnom zápase skupiny proti reprezentácii Česka, ktorý adresoval Filipovi Chlapíkovi. V tomto zápase sa taktiež prezentoval futbalovým zákrokom, ktorým výrazne prispel k zmierneniu našej porážky.
