Okrem zraneného Andersena sú na súpiske Caroliny ešte dvaja golmani – Antti Raanta a Pyotr Kochetkov. V úvode tejto sezóny sa však nedarí ani jednému z tejto brankárskej trojice. Andersen si v 6 odohraných zápasoch udržal úspešnosť zákrokov na 89,4% a v priemere inkasoval 2.87 gólu na zápas a pripísal si 4 výhry.
Raantova úspešnosť je na úrovni 87%, priemerne inkasuje viac ako 3 góly na zápas a z 5 zápasov, do ktorých nastúpil Hurricanes zvíťazili trikrát. Najhoršie je na tom Kochetkov, ktorý doteraz nevyhral ani jeden zápas, jeho úspešnosť zákrokov je 83,6% a v priemere inkasuje viac ako 4 góly na zápas.
Slovenský golman odohral v minulej sezóne 25 zápasov v drese New York Rangers s priemernou úspešnosťou 90,3%. Nastupoval v pozícií dvojky za Igorom Shesterkinom.
Pre Haláka toto môže byť osemnásta sezóna v NHL a pravdepodobne bude aj posledná. Jeho cieľom je prekonať hranicu 300 výhier v najlepšej lige sveta, pričom mu chýba posledných 5 výhier.
