Talentovaný center Vít Jiskra predĺžil zmluvu s Karlovými Varmi na tri roky, teda až do roku 2026.
Dvadsaťdva ročný útočník je odchovancom práve spomínaných Karlových Varov, od začiatku jeho cesty nastupoval len za Vary a za prvoligový Sokolov, kde pôsobil na hosťovaní.
V uplynulom ročníku nastúpil do 52 stretnutí so ziskom 20 bodov (7+13). Na hosťovaní za Sokolov nastúpil len do 6 stretnutí a pripísal si 6 bodov (3+3).
Klub mu ponúkol trojročnú zmluvu, ktorá je momentálne najdlhšia z celého tímu. Kým bola zmluva v priebehu riešenia, Jiskra prišiel s tým, či by nevadilo, keby popri hokeji študoval na vysokej škole. Klubu sa táto myšlienka veľmi páčila, a ponúkli, že nech si vyberie akúkoľvek školu, kľudne aj súkromnú, že mu zaplatia školné.
V případě Vítka jsme do profesionální smlouvy zapracovali ocenění za jeho akademickou činnost, což si myslím, že je ojedinělé. Jsme rádi, že jsme takové ambice u vrcholového profesionálního sportovce mohli podpořit. Přejeme Vítkovi úspěch nejen na ledě, ale i na vysoké škole. Je to určitě dobrý příklad pro ostatní sportovce.

Nikdy jsem neměl školu odstrčenou na nějakou vedlejší kolej. Měl jsem tak v hlavě, že bych chtěl po gymnáziu v Karlových Varech na škole pokračovat a získat nějaký titul.
