Banská Bystrica našla náhradu za Matthewa Bouchera
Prvým hráčom, ktorý opustil svoj tím počas tohtoročného prestupového obdobia, sa stala hviezda Banskej Bystrice Matthew Boucher. Po oznámení posíl ako Eriks Vitols, Andrew Lucas či Marek Valach sa novým útočníkom v zostave stáva americký univerzál Kevin O’Neil. Nová posila „baranov“ vie nastupovať na všetkých pozíciách v útoku. Svoje kvality doteraz ukazoval najmä v ECHL, kde odohral aj poslednú sezónu. V drese Adirondack Thunder nastúpil do 60 zápasov a zaznamenal 49 kanadských bodov (19+30).
Brat futbalistu Manchestru United prichádza do Michaloviec
Medzi zahraničné posily do obrany Michaloviec sa tento rok zaradil aj brat obrancu Manchesteru United Victora Lindelöfa – Alexander Lindelöf. Väčšinu svojej kariéry odohral vo Švédsku, kde patril medzi najlepších obrancov druhej švédskej ligy. Minulá sezóna však priniesla zmenu, keď sa presunul do francúzskeho Rouenu. V celkovo 51 zápasoch zaznamenal 39 kanadských bodov (15+24). Vynikal najmä vo vyraďovacej časti, kde v siedmich dueloch strelil z pozície obrancu päť gólov.
Nový center Trenčína s takmer 300 zápasmi v AHL
Skúsenosti zo švédskej HockeyAllsvenskan prináša do Tipsport ligy aj nová posila Trenčanov – Jordy Bellerive. Väčšinu svojej kariéry však odohral v zámorí, kde nastupoval v AHL. V druhej najlepšej severoamerickej súťaži odohral celkovo 294 zápasov, v ktorých zaznamenal 105 kanadských bodov za 46 gólov a 59 asistencií. Spolu so skvelou prácou s hokejkou by mal Bellerive patriť medzi najrýchlejších hráčov ligy. K rýchlosti navyše pridáva aj výborné hity pri mantineli a nezaostáva ani v defenzívnej činnosti.
Nitra našla náhradu za Aittokallia a Kašíka
Po predstavení Jaspera Patrikainena si časť fanúšikov mohla myslieť, že práve fínsky gólman bude brankárskou jednotkou pre sezónu 2025/2026. Pod Zobor však prichádza ďalšie zahraničné meno do bránkoviska – 26-ročný Kanaďan Dylan Ferguson. Vo svojej kariére si vyskúšal pôsobenie v KHL, AHL a odohral aj tri zápasy v NHL. Posledný ročník mu však nevyšiel podľa očakávaní, keď nedostával dostatok priestoru v tíme Iowa Wild, kde ho na pozíciu dvojky zosadil Samuel Hlavaj. Draftový výber Dallasu však môže priniesť Patrikainenovi silnú konkurenciu. Ten má za sebou životnú sezónu v nórskom Stavangeri.
Najproduktívnejší obranca ECHL prichádza na Slovensko
K najkvalitnejším hráčom budúcej sezóny by sa mohol zaradiť aj nový prírastok do kádra Michaloviec. Napriek finančným problémom sa vedeniu klubu podarilo získať kanadského obrancu Connora Welsha. Hoci meria len 171 centimetrov, v zámorskej ECHL prežil životnú sezónu – v 72 zápasoch nazbieral 57 kanadských bodov (8+49) a stal sa najproduktívnejším obrancom základnej časti. Michalovce tak budú v najbližšej sezóne disponovať až trojicou zahraničných obrancov.
Talianska obmena pod Tatrami
Mnohí fanúšikovia boli pred začiatkom minulej sezóny skeptickí, keď do Spišskej Novej Vsi prišiel taliansky reprezentant Dante Hannoun. Po skvelých výkonoch sa však s klubom po sezóne rozlúčil. Nadšenie z hráča talianskej reprezentácie v tíme však dlho neutíchlo, keďže k „rysom“ prichádza center Anthony Salinitri. Dlhoročný taliansky reprezentant prešiel v roku 2016 vstupným draftom NHL, v ktorom si ho vybrali Philadelphia Flyers. Väčšinu seniorskej kariéry odohral v ICEHL, kde v minulej sezóne zaznamenal 40 kanadských bodov (21+19) v 58 zápasoch.
