Určite nikoho neprekvapuje, že tím z východu úspešne udržal dvojicu Jaroslav Janus-Dominik Riečický. Prvý menovaný odchytal 29 zápasov v základnej časti, zaznamenal úspešnosť zákrokov na 93,9% a bol tak jasne najlepším brankárom ligy. V play-off niekdajší reprezentant Slovenska nastúpil do deviatich duelov (91,5%). Naopak, Dominik Riečický na tohtoročné Majstrovstvá sveta vycestoval, čo môže brať ako odmenu z minulej sezóny, kde odchytal v základnej časti 21 stretnutí s úspešnosťou 92,8%, v play-off nastúpil tak ako Janus do deviatich zápasov (95,8%).
Aktuálne majú Košice pod zmluvou aj útočníka Patrika Lampera.
