Útočník Michael Drábek zavítal na Spiš prostredníctvom výmeny za Mateja Giľáka. Vyzerá to tak, že svojími výkonmi klub presvedčil, čoho dôkazom je aj nový dvojročný kontrakt.
Drábek si za 8 odohratých zápasov pripísal 3 kanadské body za presný zásah proti Nitre a dve asistencie.Mimo bodovania sa však prezentoval veľkým chcením a bojovnosťou. Aj to bol určite faktor prečo si nakoniec kontrakt na Spiši vybojoval. Po Jurajovi Majdanovi tak „Rysy“ poistili ďalšie veľmi zaujímavé Slovenské meno.
