Sezóna 2022/2023 bola veľmi zaujímavá. Či už sa jedná o najvyššiu Tipos Extraligu alebo aj Tipos SHL. Aj v nej sa diali veci, keď jasný favorit Žilina nakoniec nepostúpil, keď vo finálovej sérii podľahol „Levom“ z Humenného 3:4 na zápasy. Rozhodujúci zápas dokonca museli rozhodnúť až samostatné nájazdy.

Zatiaľ boli z tábora Humenného hlásené len odchody. Odišli obaja brankári. Roman Durný sa sťahoval do Znojma a Filip Krasanovský do Krakova. V štvrtok 20.7 Humenné oznámilo príchod skúseného ruského brankára.

Do Humenného totiž prichádza 35 ročný Stanislav Galimov. Neznáme meno pre slovenských fanúšikov, ktoré ale má potenciál sa stať jedným z najväčších v našej lige. Galimov je dvojnásobným víťazom Gagarinovej trofeje pre víťaza KHL. Celkovo odohral v KHL 14 sezón. Tam sa mu veľmi darilo, keď mal v dresoch rôznych tímov za 14 sezón úspešnosť zákrokov 91,6%. V sezóne 2021/2022 si odbehol na jednu sezónu do fínskej ligy, kde tiež predvádzal výborné výkony v drese Kärpät Oulu. Posledná sezóna v KHL mu nevyšla a v drese Avangardu Omsk odohral len 10 zápasov s úspešnosťou zákrokov 87,9%. Teraz ale prichádza do Humenného, aby ukázal svoje skúsenosti a pomohol Levom k udržaniu sa v ich prvej sezóne v najvyššej súťaži.
