Kladno oznámilo další velké jméno, které bude v následující sezóně hájit barvy Rytířů. Po dlouhých sedmnácti letech se vrací Michael Frolík!
Jsme strašně rádi, že se Frolda vrací na Kladno, kde hokejově vyrostl. Získáváme v něm jednoho z lídrů, který nám potáhne mužstvo na ledě i v kabině.

Michael Frolík má za sebou doposud úspěšnou kariéru. Mimo jiné odehrál dlouhých 13 sezón v zámořské NHL. Do Kladna se vrací jako vítěz Stanley Cupu! Je taktéž majitelem dvou bronzových medailí z mistrovství světa. Minulou sezónu hrál za extraligový Liberec, se kterým však nestačili na své sousedy z Hradce Králové.
Frolíka si v roce 2010 vybrala Florida a od té doby vystřídal mnoho týmů. Hrál v již zmíněné Floridě, Chicagu, Winnipegu, Calgary, Buffalu a Montrealu. V roce 2021 odešel z NHL, kde si vysloužil přezdívku „Baby Jágr“ (čemuž napomohl i fakt, že Frolík oblékal dres s číslem 67), a vrátil se zpět do Evropy, kde si své „Baby Jágr“ číslo ponechal.
největší úspěch v NHL získal s Chicagem, se kterým získal onen slavný Stanley Cup. Známý je ovšem i v Calgary, za které odehrál více než tři sta utkání!
Frolík má za sebou i úspěšnou reprezentační kariéru. Českou republiku reprezentoval na MS i olympijských hrách.
Minulou sezónu v Liberci byl bodově 50%. Ve 48 zápasech nasbíral 24 bodů (10+14). Nyní však pude hrát vedle zkušených hráčů. Frolík doplňuje zkušenou dvojici: Tomáše Plekance a Jakuba Klepiše.
