Prezident SZĽH Miroslav Šatan dnes oznámil, že našu reprezentáciu do 18 rokov povedie Martin Dendis.
Výber do 18 rokov od sezóny 2023/24 povedie tridsaťjeden ročný Martin Dendis, ktorý nahradí Tibora Tartaľa.
Tiborovi ďakujeme za celoročnú prácu v projekte centralizovanej prípravy hráčov do 18 rokov aj na majstrovstvách sveta. Na jeho miesto prichádza ďalší mladý ambiciózny kouč, ktorý má za sebou bohatú profesijnú minulosť. Vo Švédsku sa Martin Dendis vypracoval na kvalitného kouča s moderným hokejovým zmýšľaním. Veľmi sa tešíme, že prijal našu ponuku vrátiť sa na Slovensko a dúfame, že svoje skúsenosti odovzdá nielen chlapcom v osemnástke, ale v budúcnosti nájde uplatnenie aj pri juniorskom či mužskom tíme.

Mladý Žilinčan pôsobil desať rokov v zahraničí, kde sa prepracoval na asistenta trénera pri mužskom hokeji v najvyššej švédskej hokejovej súťaži SHL za tím Linköping HC. Neskôr sa presunul do Štokholmu, kde bol v sezóne 2022/23 na poste hlavného trénera juniorov a asistent pri mužskom tíme druhej najvyššej hokejovej súťaže vo Švédsku, v ktorom trénoval aj talentovaného Dalibora Dvorského.
Je to veľká výzva, navyše doma na Slovensku, kam sa vraciam po desiatich rokoch v zahraničí. Som motivovaný odovzdať všetky veci, ktoré som sa naučil vo svete, chlapcom na Slovensku.

Naďalej našu reprezentáciu do 20 rokov povedie skúsený štyridsaťpäť ročný tréner Ivan Feneš, ktorý doviedol našich juniorov na majstrovstvách sveta v Kanade do štvrťfinále, kde jeho zverenci prehrali s domácou Kanadou 4:5 po predĺžení.
